AWARDS/CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: 

CELEBRATE SUCCESSFUL PRACTICES – CBSPAN’s abstract, CBSPAN Website:  The Key to Success has been selected for poster presentation at the 24th National Conference in Chicago. 

RESEARCH GRANTS AVAILABLE: 

Julianne F. Harp, BSN, RN, CPAN (WMD), was awarded a research grant for, “Management of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting in the Ambulatory Patient with the use of Acupressure Bands”. She will participate in the research poster grand rounds at the National Conference. 

Member–Get–A-Member campaign 2005 – 2006 theme will be “Diversity”

 

ASPAN Educational Offerings Winter/Spring 2005 – Please visit ASPAN web site for details and registration 

ASPAN Career Center – requesting 3 members from each component to post their resumes. An award will be presented at the National Conference to the component posting the most resumes. See ASPAN Website for details.

PERIANESTHESIA DATA ELEMENTS

 ASPAN will launch in Spring, 2005. Purpose is to provide standardized  documentation practice, education, outcome measures, and the ability to build hard data sets based on EBP.
