B. Confirmation for name change—Julianne Harp
Julianne has looked for the exact date the name changed and cannot locate. It can be narrowed down to a time and the only thing that is stated is that the current president got a new stamp with the new name and the banner was changed reflecting the new name. The meeting that this occurred was January 17,1998 and Carol Jones was president at the time. The members felt this was adequate information. Julianne will copy these minutes and send to Connie Gull.
C. Quilt raffle—Joy Reece
A quilt from ASPAN will be auctioned in Orlando with squares reflecting the cover of the 25 years of conference covers. Each district has tickets to sell and is to bring the money to the April meeting. CBSPAN will send one check to ASPAN.
VII. Announcements and Discussion
Joy asked members to bring information to the next meeting about the number attending the national meeting and costume ideas. Joy will then send the times and dates. ASPAN national meeting will be in DC in 2009 (April 19-23), Tanya will be the CBSPAN president at the time
