Board information

The members of the Board would like to review and update the ESD Scholarship form and criteria. The board will arrange to meet prior to the July CBSPAN board meeting.

Fund Raiser

 

Maryann would like to organize a raffle for time in her home in Vermont. Future planning to be announced.

 

Maryann was contacted by a AORN member from the Delaware Chapter to co-organize another trip to New York for the Spring. Proceeds will benefit both  DE-AORN and ESD chapters.

 

At the February meeting, fund raising was discussed and any suggestions were to be forwarded to Maryann or Tanya.  Chris Skinner, PCC Christiana Surgicenter suggested an ad book for the Fall Seminar.

 

Newsletter

                     

The newsletter is in need of contributors, anyone interested, please contact Maryann.

 

Meetings

 

The January meeting was held in Dover at The Olive Garden, 11 members were in attendance.

 The February meeting was hosted by the Christiana Surgicenter. Chris Skinner, PCC presented a JCAHO review in a Jeopardy format. 10 members were in attendance. It was an opportunity for the members to share information from their JCAHO experiences.

The March meeting has not been scheduled, but will be located in Southern Delaware.

AS previously discussed, ESD has implemented a change in the meeting schedule to attract members. We are averaging10 members per meeting.

 

Fall Seminar

Tanya Speiring has contacted the Dover Downs Center about available dates in October. The fall seminar will also recognize and celebrate the 25th anniversary of CBSPAN

 

Finance

2 members from Kent General have requested scholarship support for National Conference.
