CBSPAN Executive Board Meeting

1- Current Officers
2- Treasurer’s Report – Current Balance – to be received at the
May meeting, which will include funds received from membership, seminar.
3- Finance/Ways & Means/Fundraisers – Spring Seminar raffle $150 dollars, cookbooks for sale at
the seminar 2 sold 1 given as door prize The district would like to return to the
Blue Rocks to man the concession stands, in turn the district receives a
percentage of the proceeds. Dates to be determined

5- Meeting Dates & Times for the year – Meetings occur on
the 4th Monday of each month from Jan to June and September to
November. April no meeting due to ASPAN National Conference, May 22 Christiana Care to host, location
to be announced. June 26th Fist State Orthopedic Surgicenter to
host information to follow
6- Education Efforts/Support – Spring Seminar march 25th, 2006 PMRI Christiana Care, Wilmington, De 39 attendees, On-Q sales rep support membership promoted
7- Newsletter – Sent via email to members, Judy Long, editor will
create an address book so a copy may also be sent to those who do not receive
email. Maryann Sosnowski also faxes copies to the healthcare sites in Delaware.
8- Updates – The Eastern Shore district is pleased to report
that the First State Surgicenter is the first ambulatory site to host one of
the meetings. Our January meeting involved some members from this facility who
were enthusiastic about becoming active participants. The district will provide
conference support to the district president and 2 active members. The
attendees will submit an article to the newsletter upon return.
9- Membership
currently 90 members identified , our goal is 100 for this year. The
district feels this goal may be attained after the seminar, which attracted
many non-members, from sites we have tried to attract to the chapter
