FINANCES /  WAYS and MEANS                                               

The Finance Committee is a standing committee of CBSPAN and the members are charged with promoting fund raising projects. In addition to the Annual Seminar, there should be at least one additional fundraiser held during the fiscal year with profits placed in the CBSPAN treasury. Each district is responsible for their individual fundraisers to support their events, chapter and CBSPAN. Anyone having ideas or suggestions for raising money, please contact the chairperson for your area.

National Conference Component Night Theme is "Rhinestone Cowboy ". Everyone is encouraged  to wear  jeans, jean jacket/denim shirt with tee shirt under, cowboy hat, boots and glitter! We have heard mention of yellow roses and bandanas. More information to come from your District President.  CBSPAN members should dress the part to join in the fun.

A special thank you to Graze Bautista who is organizing a 50/50 raffle as a fundraiser for Component night. Conference attendees from each of the 4 districts in our Component need to contact Graze graze19@yahoo.com to help at the table.

         CBSPAN FALL SEMINAR   - Ways and Means         

Each District is to donate an item for the Silent Auction. Each District can have a table to sell items for their own fundraising. The District tables must be manned by respective district members. Please let Graze know if you plan to do this. CBSPAN  raffle is in progress and all tickets and money must be turned in before the drawing at the seminar, October 18, 2008. Try to sell as many as possible to support your component.
