GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS
CBSPAN'S Governmental Affairs Committee is a standing committee. The members are charged with attending legislative meetings, which may impact on health care and nursing practice. They monitor and review federal, state laws and regulations that affect perianesthesia nursing and its practice. The chairperson is to keep members informed of any pending and current issues needing attention between Executive Board meetings and will report on a regular basis to this website. Representatives for each area are responsible for updates. If you like being in the government arena that affects our practice, please contact the person for your district and/or CBSPAN's chairperson to join this committee.
